CityArts/AsburyPark, a full weekend celebration of the arts in Asbury Park, NJ, is set for September 24-26, 2010. The festival will be a multi media, multi arts event featuring the work of local and national artists in all the disciplines. The city’s many non-profit arts groups, arts businesses and individual artists are expected to participate.
CityArts/AsburyPark will be centered around an arts walk or tour from Main Street, though the downtown shopping district, south along Wesley Lake and east to the oceanfront boardwalk. It will feature art exhibitions; music, theater and dance performances; street art fair; film showings; spoken word and literary events and art installations.
ArtsCAP, a 501(c)3 not for profit organization, is a coalition of artists, citizens and cultural organizations dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the arts through collaboration, advocacy, and education.
