The 2010 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, featuring more than 150 of the top men and women competitors in the sport, returns to Belmar June 25-27, 2010. This high action sporting event is part of the industry’s most prominent national touring series and draws thousands of devoted fans with an average household income of $110K and millions of TV viewers.
More than 50,000 fans are expected to attend the Belmar event in addition to the thousands that visit Belmar’s popular beach and boardwalk during the event weekend. Over 17 million avid volleyball fans nationally watch the televised sport. Excitement continues to grow since AVP athletes successfully represented the United States during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, winning gold medals in Men's and Women's competition.
