New Jersey’s top surfers will seek to defend their turf against shredders from around the world as what Eastern Surf Magazine calls "one of the best contests ever held on the East Coast" returns to Belmar with more prizes, more competitors, and more action. ESA amateur competition with three divisions takes place September 11 & 12. September 17-19, elite surfers from all over the world compete for a piece of the $25,000 purse with pro longboard and shortboard competitions, a pro women’s division and the ASP Fins Pro Junior event. And that doesn’t even include all the movies, parties, and other side-acts off the beach.
Sponsors will benefit from enhanced mobile applications that will have fans on the beach and all over the world following the action online.
